Katagory V is an American heavy metal band from Salt Lake City, Utah that formed in 1999. Katagory V has released five studio albums. Their first album "Present Day" was released in 2001, and the band's most recent work "Resurrect the Insurgence" was released in 2015 and re-released in 2024. The band has reformed and is currently working on their 6th album.
